About Kirsten
The person
behind the work
Over 20 years of disability sector experience, grounded in safe, empowering, and person-centred support.
My story
I have worked in the disability sector for over 20 years, supporting young people and adults with cerebral palsy, autism, Down syndrome and intellectual disability across a range of settings.
I'm passionate about supporting each person to feel safe, empowered and confident as they build independence and connect with their community.
"Choice and control stay at the centre, with support shaped around each person's NDIS and personal goals."
I work 1:1 and in small groups, with a focus on skill development, building capacity, and helping people move towards the goals that matter in their everyday lives.
KQ Collective exists to provide practical, consistent support that feels human, respectful and genuinely connected to the life each person wants to build.

Working with Kirsten has genuinely changed how I approach my day. She's helped me build skills I didn't think I was capable of, and always does it in a way that feels encouraging.
What makes KQ different is that Kirsten actually listens. She doesn't just show up and go through the motions — she genuinely invests in your wellbeing and your goals.
